Obituary for Casey Allen Quagliano

Casey Allen Quagliano, 25, passed away February 4th, 2023. Casey was born on July 28th, 1997, to Debbie and Brian Quagliano in Colby, Kansas. Casey was a graduate of Colby High School where he met the love of his life Sabryn O’Gara. Sabryn and Casey started dating in 2013 and finally got married on August 31st, 2019.

After high school Casey decided to follow his passion of playing baseball and walked on as a Pitcher at Colby Community College. He spent one-year red shirting in Colby before transferring to McCook Community College in McCook, Nebraska. Casey and Sabryn both moved up to McCook where they would spend 3 years and on September 2nd, 2020, Casey’s real dream started. Sabryn gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Price. Shortly after Price was born, they returned to Colby to be surrounded by family as they embarked on the journey of parenthood. Casey worked for the Colby Housing Authority where many of the residents would tell you he was a very happy person who was always willing to make someone smile with a joke or a kind word. When you think of what it means to be a genuinely good human being Casey checked every one of those boxes.

Casey was the kind of man that a lot of people dream of being. A hard-working family man who loved spending time with his wife and son whenever he got the chance. He loved watching sports and cheering on his favorite teams, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Atlanta Braves and, much to the chagrin of his brother Nate, the New England Patriots. If it was nice outside that’s where you could find Casey, playing in the backyard or the driveway with Price or hanging out at the ball fields helping his brother Nate with the fields or umping softball. The word that perfectly described Casey was family. Casey and Sabryn would spend most evenings enjoying time with Casey’s parents, always willing to let them come over and spoil Price every chance they got.

Casey was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Coleman (Grandma Grey) and gradpa Richard Perry. He is survived by his wife, Sabryn Quagliano (O’Gara) and son Price; parents, Debbie and Brian Quagliano; brother Nathan Quagliano and his fiancé Courtney Reilley along with her son Charlie; grandfather Robert Coleman; grandparents, Bob and Durinda Schiltz; grandmother Brenda Dinning-Murphy; father-in-law Chad and his wife Bree O’Gara along with their children: Gavin, Kamry, Brody, and Beckam; mother-in-law Emily Perry along with her boyfriend Jason Beiker and daughter Sophie; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral Service is 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Colby United Methodist Church.
