Obituary for Celene Esther Dunker (Huss)

Celene Esther Dunker, 89 of Ludell, KS passed away peacefully March 20th, 2022 at Wheat Haven Home in McDonald, KS. Her family is forever grateful for the wonderful care and love she received while residing there. Celene was born December 6th, 1932 in Herndon, Kansas to John and Emma (Keplinger) Huss, and raised on the family farm west of Herndon. She graduated from Herndon High School. Celene was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Atwood. As a homemaker, she enjoyed raising and taking care of her family, cooking, baking, gardening and keeping her home and yard in order. Celene always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially playing games of all sorts with her grandchildren (Yahtzee a favorite), and, winning was the name of the game! She was her grand children’s biggest sports fan, attending games or listening on the radio. Celene was always there to lend a hand with family and friends when needed.
