Donald Raymond Schroer, 70, of Colby, died Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Citizens Medical Center, Colby. He was born December 15, 1951, in Oberlin, KS, to Francis and Erlene (Orr) Schroer. In his younger years, Donald farmed. He then worked as a mail carrier, until his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid golfer. Donald especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

He is survived by his wife, Janelle Schroer; children, Tony (Tara) Schroer, Danielle (RJ) Kruse and Chelcie Hamilton; siblings, Alan (Linda) Schroer, Ron (Barb) Schroer, Elaine (Johnny) Moellering, Karen (Brad) Gregory, Merlin Schroer, Brian (Linda) Schroer and Ronda Schroer; six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby, with inurnment in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Colby.
