Douglas Blythe Perry, 76, of Grinnell, died Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS. He was born July 6, 1946, in Cheyenne, WY, to George and Imogene (Hughes) Perry. Douglas served in the United States Army and was an HVAC service technician. On September 26, 1965, he married Cleta Bogart. In his free time, he enjoyed reading and searching the internet. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Oakley. Douglas especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and giving hugs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Jordan Jacoby.

Douglas is survived by his wife Cleta; children, Chris (Paula) Perry, Sandra Perry, Jamie Junge and Jennifer Perry; brothers Larry and Gail Perry; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oakley, with burial in the Orion Cemetery, rural Gove County, KS.
