Gary Lin Carmichael, 68, of Winona, KS, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the Logan County Hospital, in Oakley, KS. He was born March 20, 1954, in Booneville, MO, to Wilbur Raymond and Margaret Virginia (Calvert) Carmichael. Gary served in the National Guard. He was a semi-truck driver and worked for area farmers most of his life. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed landscaping, rodeoing, and reading from his collection of Louis L'Amour books. On July 18, 1992, Gary married Donna Rink.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Butch Carmichael and an infant son, Clint Adam Carmichael.

Gary is survived by his wife Donna, brother Dale Carmichael and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Ford Cemetery, Ford, KS.
