Obituary for James Andrew Carroll
James Andrew Carroll, 65, of Colby, Kansas, died July 10, 2022, at Colby Health and Rehab, Colby, KS. He was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota on August 10, 1956, to Richard and Eulalia (Gaddy) Carroll.
James attended school in Elmore, Minnesota and graduated from Elmore High School in 1975. He then joined the Navy for 2 years. He returned to Minnesota for a short time, then moved to Kansas where he worked for Red River Commodities for 18 years as a dedicated employee.
James met Sara Rogers and they were married on March 26, 2004. In 2006, Michelle and Devin Rogers joined their home. He enjoyed taking his family to Trenton lake fishing, also traveling to Colorado to go hiking, and visit relatives.
Preceding James in death were his parents Eulalia and Richard Carroll, sister Carol Ann and her husband Virgil Hatfield.
James will be missed by his wife, Sara of 18 years; brothers, Richard (Mona) Carroll, of Blue Earth, MN, and William (Mary) Carroll, of Janesville, MN; sisters, Darlene (Harold) Hatfield and Rose Hatfield, all of Levant, KS and Patsy (Tom) Matthews of Winfield, KS and many relatives and friends.
