Leta Fern Moses, 96, of Colby, died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the Gove County Long Term Care, in Quinter, KS. She was born January 31, 1926, in Gem, KS, to August and Nettie (Kiefer) Woerpel. On August 15, 1942, Leta married Emery Moses. To this union 5 children were born. Leta enjoyed her flower garden, reading and sitting with a good cup of coffee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Emery; son Rick Moses; grandchildren, Chase Moses, Caitlin Moses, Connor Moses and Melissa Moses and siblings, Wayne Woerpel, Claude Woerpel and Lela Musil.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Cindy) Moses, of Colby, KS, Cathy (Paul) Breeden, of Quinter, KS, Boyce (Pam) Moses, of Hutchinson, KS and Ken (Michelle) Moses, of Atwood, KS; daughter-in-law Linda Moses, of McCook, NE; grandchildren, Jason Moses, Deb Hilt, Shanda Brown, Shelby Bain, Brianna Glaze, Cade Moses, Tyler Breeden, Michael Breeden, Cassidy Dean, Bailey Watts, Marie Moses, Avery Moses, Ainsley Moses and Ayla Moses; sister Jean Johnson, of Overland Park, KS and 22 great-grandchildren.
