Obituary for Paula Sue Bixenman
Paula Sue Bixenman, 64, of Colby, died Monday, December 26, 2022. She was born July 26, 1958, in Colby, the fifth of six children to LeRoy and Lucy (Leiker) Bixenman. Paula attended Sacred Heart School and Colby Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1976. She worked as a maid at several area motels before becoming disabled. Paula was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Steve; niece Kim French and brother-in-law Wayne Matthews.
Paula is survived by her brothers, Mike, Don and Dave, all of Colby; sister Joan Matthews, of Salina; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.
A Memorial Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby, with burial in the church cemetery. For information or condolences visit www.baalmannmortuary.com
