Obituary for Raymond Lee Edwards
Raymond Lee Edwards “Stingray” was born on February 22, 1961, in John Day, OR to Kenneth and Muriel (Gilbert) Edwards.
Ray enjoyed many career paths in his life, but his true calling was being an over the road truck driver. He loved being able to explore the country and made many life-long friends along the way. Ray enjoyed many things in life including camping, hunting and fishing, but what he cherished the most was his family. He never had children of his own, but he loved his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews with everything he had.
Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Muriel Miars; infant sister, Margie Ann Edwards; and nephew Shaun Wilcox.
He is survived by his siblings, Rose (Dale) Wilcox, Dale (Pam) Edwards, Mary (Rex) Asbridge; nieces and nephews, Samantha (Gary) Repshire, Amber Wright, Tyler (Hilary) Edwards, Jason Rhea, Nikki Smith, Tony (Lisa) LaCore, Ashley (Lance) Friesen, Jamie Zapp, Ryan Asbridge, and Bryan (Savvy) Wilcox.
Ray’s family asks that you join them at Annie Oakley Park, Oakley, KS for a potluck dinner on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 12 pm in celebration of his life.
