Ronald Allan Strom, 75, of Colby, died Friday, April 1, 2022. He was born January 30, 1947 in Rockford, Illinois to Allan O. and Marjorie L (Anderson) Strom. After graduating from East High School Ron enlisted in the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Ron loved living in Colorado from 1982 until 2020 when he moved to Colby. He loved spending time in the Colorado mountains outdoors, snowmobiling, fishing and camping. He loved Kansas with the beautiful sunsets, his woodworking and yard projects, and enjoying quiet times on the patio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Marilyn B Jackson.

He is survived by his life partner Nancy S. C. McCabe, daughter, Andrea Strom (Penny), sister Cheryl (Russell) Jones, sister Karen Wood, and several nieces and nephews.
