Obituary for Shirley Marie Vance (Mullin)
Shirley Marie Vance, 85, of Rexford, died Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Citizens Medical Center, in Colby. She was born March 30, 1937, in Smith Center, KS, to Allen and Eva (Zade) Mullin. Shirley married Vernon Vance on December 5, 1964, in Phillipsburg, KS and to this union three children were born. In 1974, the family moved from Phillipsburg, to Rexford, KS. Shirley enjoyed painting, reading, and gambling.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Della Hansen.
Shirley is survived by her husband Vernon; children, Dennis Vance, Vickie (Mike) Egner, and Brian (Teresa) Vance; brother Victor Mullin; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Rexford Community Church, Rexford, KS, with burial in the Rexford Cemetery.
